PTEA

DROP BY DROP, WE INNOVATE TOWARDS EXCEPTIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT

The Spanish Water Technology Platform (PTEA) is a public-private cooperation network led by the water industry and business sector. Its main objective is to promote research, development and innovation (R&D&I) among the country’s scientific and technological agents.

PTEA is a reality thanks to the efforts of its members and the support of the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN).



MisSiOn

PTEA’s mission is to promote innovation and constantly improve technologies and processes related to the sustainable management of the integral water cycle. It also seeks to boost employment, competitiveness and internationalization of the sector.



EntiTIes

This initiative arose thanks to the collaboration of AEAS, AFRE, AETIC, AQUAESPAÑA, ATTA, TECNIBERIA and TRAGSA, together with other relevant entities of the sector. Currently, the platform has more than 100 associated entities.



R + D + i

Through the development and implementation of the Spanish R&D&I Strategy for the water sector (ΣH2O), the Platform works for the benefit of companies in the sector, technology centers and universities, public administrations and institutions, as well as users and society in general.

IDiAGUA Magazine 2023

The magazine includes a letter from the President of the PTEA, which gives a preview of the nature of the different technical contributions. It also includes an opinion article by the Deputy Director General of Public Domain and Infrastructures of the General Direction of Water, and an interview with the winner of the National Engineering Award. The central core is made up of 12 technical articles on the subject
